When you light a flare, the only thing shared is the spot you pick to meet — and only with the friends you invite. Even while your flare is up, the app isn't following you: it never tracks your live location, never reads it in the background, and never shares where you are at any other time.
And we'll never, ever spam you. Notifications are for real plans only — a friend's around, someone's in, the moment's happening. The need-to-know, never the noise every other app buries you in.
